New Job, etc...

I am no longer an employee of CCC and CK!!! Thank you to whatever deity you pray to.

After Memorial Day I began working full time for KHSA. It is a non-profit organization that does advocacy, resource development, and professional development for Kansas Head Start programs. My title is Member Services Coordinator, but I'm pretty much a glorified administrative assistant. So far, I'm loving it.

Mike and I are also considering a change in our living situation. We are becoming disenchanted with our apartment complex and are thinking about buying. We meet with a realitor tonight!!! I'm excited about this possibility for many reasons...non-white walls, window treatments other than mini blinds, yards, and freedom to have as many pets as I like are just a few. I'm also pretty nervous. As a rule, I am not good with change. I'm also worried that this may lead to us having to say goodbye to Lawrence and go back to Topeka.

Always another adventure...
